Title:  Angelic Salutation (German: Engelsgruß)
Artist:  Stoss, Veit [Polish, 1447-1533]
Year:  1517-1518
Material:  Polychromed Lindenwood (limewood) figures
Dimensions:  15.5 m x 17 ft.
Where:  St. Lorenz Kirche, Nuremberg, Germany
Notes:  Hung on a metal chain in the center of the choir facing the high altar. Stoss created a large gilded crown to hang over the frame, but this is now lost.
